Welcome Message

On behalf of EAACI, we are delighted to welcome you to Verona for the 9th Drug Hypersensitivity Meeting (DHM 2020).

DHM 2020 will take place in Verona, Italy, from 2 to 4 April 2020. This biannual event started in Bern in 2004 and was successfully held in Liverpool 2006, Paris 2008, Rome 2010, Munich 2012, Bern 2014, Malaga 2016 and Amsterdam 2018.

DHM is an interdisciplinary meeting, bringing together researchers and physicians from different disciplines to exchange their most up-to-date data in this continually evolving field and to transfer them into clinical practice. It is the leading event of its kind, attracting up to 500 physicians and researchers from all over the world.

Again, we hope to enthral you with a programme where researchers discuss their latest findings in pathomechanisms and clinicians share their insights in diagnosis and therapeutic options for the various drug allergy reactions. The best posters will be presented at the end of each session, enabling young researchers to present their data and discuss their findings with you. New this year is the pro/con arena where two drug allergy experts will debate about premedication and penicillin challenges.
